One licence = one production site. Use it freely on dev and staging. Full source code, no obfuscation. Your licence key is validated once at install — after that, the software runs entirely on your server with no ongoing checks. The only thing you can't do is redistribute RuntCMS itself.
Tom Spetter Design ("Licensor") grants you ("Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to:
A "site" is defined as one publicly accessible domain or subdomain. Examples:
example.com — one siteshop.example.com — a separate site (needs its own licence)localhost, staging.example.com — not counted (dev/staging are free)If you are a freelancer or agency building a site for a client, each client site needs its own licence. There is no agency tier — just $49 per site. Most developers factor this into the project quote.
Your licence includes all updates within the current major version. If a major new version is released (e.g. v2.0), existing customers receive a discounted upgrade. Security patches are always free for all versions.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions, no forms, no explanation required. Refunds are processed within 1–2 business days.
This licence is perpetual — it does not expire. However, we may terminate it if you breach these terms (e.g. redistribute the source code). Upon termination, you must remove all copies of RuntCMS from your servers.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for testing the Software in your environment before deploying to production.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tom Spetter Design shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the licence fee you paid.
This licence is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
